The digital  G series consists of a professional DVB-T or ATSC transmitter suitable for low and medium powers, supporting MFN architecture. This series is designed as an easy, flexible and compact system. It includes: DVB-T or ATSC exciter, an eventual power amplifier and an output filter to comply with the emission mask specification required. The device could be contained in 12HE or 21HE cabinets.
Transmitters output power is available from 2.5W to 500/900W.
The modular construction of the equipment makes this transmitter family very reliable and facilitate maintenance and control procedures.
The exciter, built in 3HE cabinet, consists of plug-in modules and integrates the digital modulator as well as the up-converter section.
All DVB-T modulator operating parameters including modulation type, FEC, guard interval, carriers number and bandwidth can be easily set on the front panel. The plug-in structure makes easy to obtain any configuration desired and also makes possible to insert other optional modules (like ATV modulator and “timer” module, easily transforming the digital driver in a dual cast one). High efficiency amplifier, based on latest LD-MOS technology, offers great linearity and excellent performances. Each amplifier integrates modular switching power supplies and the following protections: SWR, over-temperature, over-drive, over-current and over-voltage. Each device is equipped with a LCD meter display to control all operating parameters and a remote control interface.
